This is an awesome track that I came across a while back and just found this embedded link so thought I’d post it. The music is perfect and Rollins is a brilliant poet, satirist and musician.

Check out Black Water Rising on their myspace account! Seriously, I don’t get overly excited about a lot of shit but this band just rocks the hell out of me!

Just wanted to post for Dimebag fans that Guitar World has him on the cover… Not read through it yet but here’s the cover…
Not much to post lately but I have my Crossfire Sapphire HD3870′s going!… I’ll post more with the results soon…
Edit 2008-02-08: I had the chance to read through Guitar World and it’s an incredible tribute to Dimebag! A lot of stories and articles about his life. As for my Crossfire, still going great and I’ll get to that soon.
The Zune! Part 2

I haven’t done much else with the Zune, but I did connect it to my Xbox 360, fired up a Metallica playlist and did some singleplayer of Halo 3 while listening. Played well but it would be nice if in one of the updates Microsoft lets you adjust music while in a game (something like pressing a button allows you to bring up the music player and pause/stop/track skip/volume/etc.). If it’s there, I didn’t see it and haven’t seen anything on it but not really searched for the functionality. It did work with no issues tho. I just need the time to play with it.
And damn it, my Xbox 360 hates me!
The Zune!

Last week Woot was offering a refurbished 30GB Zune for $99 (black or white models) so I finally leaped since I was hoping for a black when they first started offering the white model for $20 more. I received the Zune on Wednesday and so far I’m liking it. As for being refurbished, I’m not sure what was wrong with it since it looks as if it’s brand new. The casing and screen are in perfect condition and the default load was installed. Could be Microsoft attempting to unload stock with the new model around the corner.
Using the Zune software and installation was just as easy (actually it was a tad easier) than installing iTunes. The Zune completed firmware updates and downloaded and installed the latest version rather than installing the older version on the CD, requesting a reboot and then notifying me that there are updates available (as iTunes typically does to me).
