I picked up a Pertelian X2040 LCD from ThinkGeek this past week and received it today. Not a lot to say yet but it’s very cool in terms of features for coming in under $50. I picked up the WTF mug for a bit more but a good mug for the desk. Maybe it will keep me from typing it so much in games.

Anyway, as I said I am learning it now and it’s a bit confusing to remember the ctrl-alt-??? keystrokes but I wrote a quick reference up to remember them and you can do a huge list of items such as check mail, weather, news, stocks, game stats, view IM and RESPOND via the display (using your keyboard but using their interface), view your media playing, search for media, adjust volume levels on master and your media player, system utilization (cpu, memory, drives, network, etc.) and the list goes on and on. Best to take a look at Pertelian’s website for what exactly this thing does for the price. They are very active on updates and it has community involvement for additional mods.
