Guitar Hero II Coming Soon For The Xbox 360

I was browsing around tonight and found that Guitar Hero II will also be released on the Xbox 360! This is a great game and I’m glad they’re finally making the port. It comes out for the PS2 on November 7, 2006 but there’s no set date for the Xbox 360 other than 2007 but I’ll be watching! 
They’re also releasing a new guitar from what I read on another article but can’t find the link again. I want a black version! heh No buy links are available yet for the Xbox 360 version.

New Office/Gaming Chair

AK has been around with the rocker/gaming seats for consoles for a while but I discovered the AK Octane this week while at Best Buy. I stopped in for something else (always something at Best Buy with my name on it. ) and also needed a chair desperately since my last one turned out to be a compliete PoS. Anyway I’m trying to get use to this but I like it so far, it sits a bit high for my desk and doesn’t allow you to slouch as much but I’m liking it.
You can check out more info at the AK website. Apparently Best Buy is exclusively selling it for now but it’s on sale this week for $129 + they had the Reward Zone coupons through yesterday that dropped it to around $110. The Best Buy link is here.
3 Columns/XHTML Compliant (Again!!)

Did some work on the site tonight and figured out how to get the 3rd column working. Really liking WordPress, easy to set up, configure, add plugins and most of all post quickly. I looked at Joomla at first for this site and glad I didn’t go with it. I think I’d rather be running WordPress for the front end of my Radio Vietnam too so that I could just post info quickly and in order and have post info on the front page from Simple Machines Forum like threads/polls (not sure if there’s a bridge for WP & SMF) because Joomla isn’t that hard but every time I want to change something I jump through hoops, I also hate the frontpage manager, it doesn’t matter how many times I specify something to stay put, it always gets pushed down from the top spot on the front page. I know that it’s probably me but I’ve figured out how most of the items work and the general configuration but posting quick messages are another story, maybe I’ll look for a componant to help with it. The rest of Joomla isn’t hard and work well but for posting general information/news I really dislike it.
I also got my Flash code and Yahoo code cleaned up and back to XHTML compliant. whooohooo!
BF2 Venting

OK… I have been getting pissed lately! LOL Not that it’s anything new but I play servers that show BattleRecorder enabled and 90% of them don’t work. WTF is up with that?? EA needs to figure out something (if they have it in BF2142) to check if it’s actually working before showing the server as a BR server!!
Second bitch. Why the hell does admins run infantry only maps with the 64 player Strike at Karkand?? It’s Infantry, why spread shit out. My personal opinion is that you play infantry only to get some close quarter fighting and live, die or get the shit kicked out of you, it’s about close quarters. Why in the hell run a map that’s huge. If you have input on this, let me know b/c I see no logic. Same with pistol/knife servers…. Run the smallest map possible for Strike if that’s all it’s about and have 24/7 admins if you’re doing that because 90% of the damn pistol/knife servers are infested by dumbasses and if they’re there I won’t hesitate to fire an m60. The best one is when they have that and no option for opposing teams to vote kick….that’s a great one, someone is raping you with a machine gun and you can’t kick them. Apparently EA/DICE rules are against these servers anyway but WTF is up with admins not monitoring it??
I’m also strongly against non-team damage gheymores. That shouldn’t be an option, you freakin’ drop claymores you kill your team too. I’m tired of littered battlefields with them and no punishments.
